How to Teach a Toddler to Talk

Online Course

I know you desperately want your child to talk.

I’ve experienced how heartbreaking it is to have a child in your family who can’t communicate. You want to know their thought and feelings, but you can’t because of their speech delay. You want to help them but feel lost and overwhelmed, not knowing the best steps to take.

On top of that, speech therapy is expensive, insurance can be complicated, and waitlists can be as long as 12 months. You may feel helpless and lay awake at night, worrying about your little one not knowing how far behind they are or how to help them.

How many words should your child use?

  • 12 Months =2-6 words
    (other than “mama” and “dada”)
  • 15 Months =10 words
  • 18 months =50 words
  • 24 Months =200-300 words
  • 30 Months=450 words
  • 36 Months =1,000 words

Curriculum

Learn what cognitive skills are essential for speech development in young children. Watch me work with kids and parents to see how to help your child become more socially engaged. This lesson is especially crucial for children who are at-risk or diagnosed with Autism.

Before children can use words, they must first understand concepts. Learn what types of receptive language skills to look for in your child and see how to strengthen these areas by watching me perform speech therapy with toddlers.

Learn how to encourage your child to copy what you do and what you say! Watch how I teach these skills in speech therapy with my clients.

If your child is struggling to use words and is highly frustrated, using sign language is an excellent temporary solution. See how teaching sign language in 3 stages has been successful with my clients.

Now, imitation is an exciting part of the process but does not come effortlessly for all children. Use my approach with four strategies during engaging activities for a more successful learning process with your child.

Independent speech is an important development, learn my approach with a three-step process to encourage your toddler to say words on their own more effectively. In the end, you’ll learn what next steps to take, and in a BONUS video, I’ll answer several commonly asked questions.

Must cost a fortune, right?

Nope!

Let me put the cost in perspective. My three and a half hour course is cheaper than many would charge for only ONE hour of private speech therapy (up to $300 per hour).

My course includes the material I’d typically cover in 6 months of in-person therapy. All that time in private treatment would cost
