As a therapist, I know the importance of helping your baby learn to talk.
You want what’s best for your child, both today and long-term. You want to understand your child’s thoughts and feelings, but can’t because of delayed language development. You wish to help your child, but find yourself feeling lost and overwhelmed—unsure of what steps to take.
Add to that the cost of speech therapy, complex insurance policies, 12+ month waitlists, and the feeling of uncertainty—and it’s clear you may find yourself feeling helpless and unable to sleep at night, worrying about your toddler and unsure how delayed their development is, or how to help them.
That’s why I created How to Teach a Toddler to Talk. I’ve experienced the heartbreak of having a child in the family struggle to communicate, which is why I’m focused on creating more accessible speech therapy programs for kids.

My child is talking but not very much, is this course right for them?
YES! This course is well-suited for children whose vocabulary size is below-average. For words to count as vocabulary, they should be used independently and not imitated from an adult. Vocabulary is used regularly; so, words used in the past, or once or twice do not count. I usually don't count "ABC's" or numbers as words, because they are not functional terms to express a child's needs and wants.
Is this course for children Autism?
YES! This course covers essential techniques which apply to children at-risk of autism, or diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Lessons 1 and 2 are tailored for children experiencing these developmental challenges.
Should the course replace speech therapy?
For optimum results, use this course while working in-person with a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist. This course is designed to accompany in-person speech and language therapy by providing general education and resources.
Are there cancellations or refunds?
Cancellations and refunds are not offered. Please reach out to Kayla at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a question about the course.
